Current Adult Study:

Words of Encouragement

Some of you have been in my classes where we slowly and deliberately read together through a book of the Bible. Over the weeks, taking our time, we get intimately acquainted with the words and with each other as we share our questions and insights. It’s a way of engaging with God’s Word that really brings it alive. Beginning January 9 we will start our exploration of 2 Corinthians. I chose this letter precisely because of how relatively unfamiliar I am with it. I’ve done multiple studies of Philippians and Ephesians and the four Gospels, for instance, but never one on 2 Corinthians. I do know that it’s a very encouraging letter, and I think we all could use some words of encouragement these days. So I hope you’ll come and join me in this journey of discovery. We meet downstairs in Room 11.
